"Collective Thinking Board (CTB)" and "CTB Sample": Teacher Board-work Card
Overview
All Collective Thinking Boards come pre-set with essential lesson cards. Teachers only need to add Classmates' Idea Cards to the CTB for class discussions. Each lesson type’s CTB may look slightly different due to the unique features of each lesson.
Collective Thinking Board (CTB)
The CTB is a digital whiteboard designed for teachers to organize and keep all essential lesson cards in one place, making them easily accessible during discussions.
CTB Sample
The CTB Sample is designed to inspire teachers with their boardwork by providing an example of effective boardwork that facilitates discussion.
Functionality
In LoiLo TTP Math, teachers use the Collective Thinking Board (CTB) to organize and present student work during class discussions. This tool helps teachers create a neat and structured lesson, following the principles of Japanese math practice.
The CTB allows teachers to collect and display student work as the lesson progresses. Teachers can either present the collected ideas or invite students to share their own work with the class. This approach exposes students to multiple problem-solving strategies, helping everyone understand the lesson more effectively. Teachers can also annotate or add concepts to student work on the CTB to enhance understanding.
